Transform your kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich compost and liquid fertiliser with the Wiggly Wigglers Compact Worm Farm. Designed to fit seamlessly into your home or sheltered outdoor spaces, this eco-friendly solution is perfect for reducing food waste, enriching your plants, and embracing sustainable living.

Key Benefits:

  •  Organic Fertiliser: Produce nutrient-packed vermicompost to supercharge your soil and plants.
  •  Worm Tea: Harvest a continuous supply of liquid fertiliser, ideal for all your indoor and outdoor plants.
  •  Compact Design: Perfect for small spaces, it fits easily into kitchens, utility rooms, greenhouses, sheds, or even sheltered balconies.
  • Why Compost at Home?Every year, tonnes of kitchen waste are sent to landfill, producing harmful methane emissions. Composting at home with the Compact Worm Farm:
    • Reduces Methane: Divert food waste from landfill and lower greenhouse gas emissions.
    • Keeps Nutrients Local: Ensure your garden benefits directly from recycled waste.
    • Avoids Transport Emissions: No need for energy-intensive collection schemes—your waste stays where it belongs.

    What Can You Compost?

Once you get your worms up to speed they can process up to 1kg of food waste weekly, depending on the worm population.

    Worms love:

    • Fruit and vegetable scraps (e.g., banana peels, apple cores, carrot tops).
    • Coffee grounds and tea bags (ensure tea bags are plastic-free).
    • Crushed eggshells.
    • Bread, pasta, or rice (in small amounts).

    Avoid in large amounts:

    • Citrus, onion, and garlic scraps (these can make the compost too acidic).
    • Meat, fish, and dairy (can attract pests and cause odours).

How Much Compost and Liquid Feed Will You Produce?

    • Compost: Expect to collect 5-10 litres of vermicompost every 6-8 weeks, depending on how much waste you add.
    • Worm Tea: Harvest up to 1 litre of worm tea per week, which can be diluted (1:10 with water) and used as a powerful liquid fertiliser.

    How It Works

    1. Setup: Assemble the worm farm using the included Wiggly Guide, bedding block, and 250g of premium composting worms.
    2. Feed: Add kitchen scraps regularly, allowing the worms to break them down efficiently.
    3. Harvest Compost: When the top tray is full, rotate it to the bottom, collect the vermicompost, and continue the process.
    4. Drain Worm Tea: Use the built-in tap to collect worm tea, ready to dilute and feed to your plants.

    Eco-Friendly Design

    • Made from Recycled Materials: Crafted from durable, eco-friendly plastics, with natural colour variations that add a unique touch.
    • Compact Size: At just 38 cm x 38 cm x 38 cm, it’s ideal for tight spaces.
